Build a lattice

Open the lab
Pick LAB from the main menu. The lab unlocks after you clear the first campaign level. Inside, the EDITING LAB holds your lattice library and the editor.
Start a new lattice
Create a new entry from a blank grid, a preset shape, or any campaign or endless layout. A lattice can be anywhere from 3×3 to 35×35 cells.
Edit tools
With EDIT LATTICE on, the tool palette gives you:
- WIRE cuts or restores the connection between two cells. Drag to sweep several at once.
- BREACH adds or removes a breach point, where intrusions enter. Paint as many as you like, and keep at least one.
- CORE moves the core, the cell you defend.
- CONDUIT marks a cell walkable but unbuildable.
- VOID removes a cell from the lattice entirely.
- TRAP CELL paints a cell that hits crossing intrusions with a status effect.
- DRIFT paints a current that pushes intrusions along its arrow.
- ROUTER adds a stop that intrusions detour through on the way to the core.
Playtest
Turn EDIT LATTICE off to defend your own board with the full battle interface. The core springs back, so test as long as you like.
Your library
Every session autosaves to your lattice library. From there you can open, rename, duplicate, export, or delete any entry. When a layout feels right, publish it to the Workshop.
